Beacon Bay Marina is nestled in the southernmost tip of Penetanguishene harbor, less than half a mile from the Port of Historic Penetanguishene, where we are protected naturally from wind and wake, while providing plenty of green space to stretch your legs on the expansive property.

There is also a swimming pool, children’s play area, basketball half-court, nature walk, picnic tables, gazebo, plenty of showers and washrooms (clean & monitored regularly), and a coin laundry. Attached to the main office & chandlery, there are 4 modest motel rooms to accommodate out-of-town guests.

A marina store stocks charts, nautical clothing, hardware, ropes, cleaning supplies, engine parts and electronics, as well as pop, snacks, ice cream and ice. As well as a fully staffed yacht brokerage – www.beaconbayyachtagency.com – in the marina office, there is a public phone, fax & copy machines, and Wi-Fi e-mail and internet access for taking care of business while away from home.

Beacon Bay Marina is a full-service facility, providing over 300 permanent slips – most are floating and/or drive-to – with power (50- and 30-amp) and water at each, ranging in size from 30’ to 50’ and a depth of 8-10’ throughout, including the well marked access channel from the harbor, and the large fuel dock (with gas, diesel, & pump-out facilities). Haulouts for inside and outside winter storage are done using a 45-ton travelift and 32-ton hydraulic trailer operated by well experienced staff for all styles of power boats, sailing vessels and motor yachts.

Mechanical, electrical, oil changes, engine repairs, electronics installation and troubleshooting, woodwork, fiberglass repairs or painting, winterizing and shrink wrapping are available by the professionals at Butler Marine Services on site, whose extensive industry experience is renowned.

Other marine services that are available include Nautical Masters Inc., Ahoy Textiles & Fabricating, CO2 Inflatables. West Marine, Walmart, Canadian Tire, major grocery chains, and plenty of great shops are nearby, as well as several terrific restaurants.
